Brazilians call Capoeira a game. Capoeira is "played", not fought. This 400 years old martial arts consists of a highly acrobatic, energetic and difficult to master stylised dance.
The performance consists of 2 or more "players" dance fighting to music.
They engage in a style of dance-like-fighting that includes simulated feints, flips, sweeps, kicks and other strikes without actually touching or hit the other fighter.
The purpose is not to physically beat the opponent but to find power and energy within yourself and flow with the music being played.
This show features a minimum of 2 performers (up to 4 - 6 or 8) and can be booked separately or included in any of our show performances.
