Tropicalia Show is a vibrant London based established Ensemble wholly run by professional musician and performer - Leo Mantini and Vanessa Carvalho.
Since 2003 Tropicalia Show is dedicated to provide outstanding first class Latin and Brazilian entertainment with up to 20 or more dancers and musicians available to entertain you.
You will deal directly with

Tropicalicious Show
Filled with passion, glamour and style, Tropicalicious Show features an established exceptional live band, a female Brazilian vocalist dancer singing comfortably in Portuguese, Spanish and English, fascinating and dynamic dancers performing traditional Latin and Brazilian dance choreography with a contemporary flare brought on stage with elegance and professionalism.
This spectacular Show will definitely bring the WOW factor at your event featuring a display of beautiful original carnival costumes and colourful feathers as well as shiny sequined dresses throughout with 3-4 outfit changes.
A visual astonishing show presentation celebrating South American music and dance to
such mesmerizing effect that the audience are given a taste of what the Rio de Janeiro Carnival or Havana de Cuba club scene has to offer - Samba, Salsa, Cha Cha, Lambada, Axe’ and much more!
Like all of our shows there is always and element of audience participation which will get everybody down to the dance floor!
Our standard performance includes up to 2 hours of entertainment with stage Show, Latin Brazilian up tempo music played by the band for the dance floor entertainment with audience participation and background music set with smooth Latin
Jazz and Brazilian bossa nova to please your guests while dining.
You can mix up these performances as they can
be adjusted to suit client’s
individual requirements.
A Brazilian Capoeira Show can also be integrated within this performance.

Latin & Brazilian Dancers
to Backing tracks
For small events or simply
for lack of space or tight schedule, a valid alternative can be to hire our dance group and female Brazilian vocalist dancer performing to backing tracks. Although we always recommend this line-up, you can also choose to book the dancers without the singer.
Our gorgeous dancers and singer will carry a feeling of elegance and prestige providing a very energetic performance featuring spectacular original costumes and choreographed routines which will dazzle your guests getting everyone off their feet into the dance floor!
The show will give the audience an authentic taste of the Latin & Brazilian dance experience including Samba, Salsa, Cha Cha, Lambada, Axe’ and much more!
When you book the line-up with
the vocalist dancer, she will also entertain the audience singing
Up tempo Latin & Brazilian songs as well as Latin pop and contemporary charts to quality backing tracks. Besides, the dancers can run a short basic steps dance workshop for your guests to join the dancers in their routine. Be assured that they will create an exciting party time!
In addition, the singer can also perform a background music set featuring a classy repertoire of smooth Latin jazz and Brazilian bossa nova. This would be ideal for wedding reception or to delight your guest while dining.
A Capoeira Show can also be included within this performance.

Our established band features an international line-up of skilled and versatile professional musicians and singer completely dedicated to deliver the best performance on stage to impress.
The band is fronted by our Brazilian female vocalist singing comfortably in Portuguese, Spanish and English. This Band can fill any moment of your event whether it being a relaxing or exciting time.
For your wedding reception or simply to please your guests while dining, the Band can perform a background music set list of a classy and sophisticated repertoire of smooth Latin jazz and Brazilian Bossa Nova.
For your after dinner party entertainment Tropicalia Party Band will provide a sparkling
and energetic lively performance presenting a well-assorted selection of hot Latin and Brazilian up tempo grooves such as samba, salsa, cha cha, rumba, lambada, samba-reggae also including Latin pop and contemporary charts by Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Sade, Mojo, Michael Buble’, Beyonce, Santana, Jennifer Lopez, Pink Martini, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland to name but a few.

Capoeira Show
Brazilians call Capoeira a game. Capoeira is "played", not fought.
This 400 years old martial arts consists of a highly acrobatic, energetic and difficult to master stylized dance.
The performance consists in 2 or more "players" dance fighting to music.
They engage in a style of dance-like-fighting that includes simulated feints, flips, sweeps, kicks and other strikes without actually touching or hit the other fighter. The purpose is not to physically beat the opponent but to find power and energy within yourself and flow with the music being played.
Latin Dance Workshop
Dance workshops add something different to your event. Tropicalia has expert Instructors conducting fun and exciting workshops in any Latin dance style also including the very trendy Zumba class.
Depending on the number of attendants the workshops require at least two instructors and run for approximately 60-90 minutes however this may be varied to suit your needs.
Workshops are a great way to get your guests up and dancing by learning few different steps and spins. It helps to build their confidence on the dance floor. For corporate staff functions it can also be a great way to encourage social interaction and build team communication.
Dance classes can be booked together with any of the Tropicalia’s line-ups or separately.

Founder of Tropicalia, Lead singer, dancer and choreographer
Born in Salvador, Bahia – Brazil, Vanessa is a unique example of complete performer as she developed her vocal and dancing skills since she was 8. At present Vanessa is the only singer dancer in the UK as she sings comfortably in Portuguese, Spanish, English and Italian as well as dance many different Latin styles. In Brazil, she performed for the “Trio electrico” during the carnival in Salvador-Bahia and took part at the famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival as “passista de samba” (samba dancer) for the
well-recognised "Imperio Serrano" School of samba. Very attached to her roots, she is a deep connoisseur of the MPB (Brazilian Popular Music) and bossa nova repertoire. She can also sing a wide repertoire of well known Western pop music charts which make her a complete and versatile showgirl. She is now fully committed to produce and perform her own shows with Tropicalia always looking for being a step ahead creating unique performances to surprise and entertain audiences all over the UK and abroad.
Dancer, vocalist and choreographer
Liliana started her performance career as a figure skater in Portugal at the age of 6. Through championships, festivals and individual performances she developed her technique and style which
is shown in her dancing today. From then she went into Jazz, Latin and Brazilian dance, which is her speciality. Her experience is vast as she has travelled the World performing with Ricky Martin, Will Smith, Basement Jaxx and for Princess Caroline of Monaco. She also held the title of UK kizomba champion in 2010/11. Since 2003 Liliana has worked as 1st dancer vocalist as well as choreographer with Tropicalia. Together with Vanessa Carvalho, they are the artistic driving force of the dance group, always creating innovative performances such as the Tropicalicious Show.
Founder of Tropicalia, Director, Bandleader & drummer
Over the past twenty years he has been active on the international music industry circuit as a pro-session musician performing in Europe, Singapore, Africa, Middle East and throughout the UK. He had the opportunity to work in many different Musical Shows and Pop productions sharing the stage with talented musicians and entertainers as well as distinguished producers. He gained a vast experience in producing theatre shows in general, particularly Latin Brazilian themed. In 2003, Leo joined forces with Vanessa Carvalho and founded Tropicalia. Their sole intent was to create a fresh and innovative Latin Brazilian Musical Show performance and blow some new life into the traditional Latin entertainment scene. They are proud to have coined the term “Latin Brazilian Show” and have developed it into a unique form of spectacle well appreciated by audiences all over the world.
